THE VETERAN ACTOR PASSED AWAY A WEEK AND SOME DAYS INTO THE NEW YEAR, ANOTHER TRAGEDY FOR NOLLYWOOD

Nollywood has lost yet another gem as a veteran actor, Jim Lawson Maduike is reportedly dead.
The Imo-born thespian died today, January 9 after reportedly complaining of body pains at around 12 pm.

Before his death, Maduike was a famous Nollywood actor, radio broadcaster, writer, voice-over artist, filmmaker and a television personality.

Several social media users have come online to express shock at the death of the movie icon. The Imo state actor was said to have died after he complained of body pains shortly before his death around 12 noon.

Until his death, the veteran actor was a radio broadcaster, writer, and TV personality. He joined the Nollywood movie industry in 2004 and has since acted in more than 150 movies.

It is indeed a sad moment for the movie industry. An iroko is fallen, the ground has suffer bruises. May his soul rest in peace. You will be updated on his burial arrangement. I remain your host Nancy Henry.
